mybutterfly.org is operated by Semantiker GmbH (see Impressum). This policy describes what personal data we process and why. Account data We store your nickname, an encrypted password hash, and in-app preferences (language, last continent, cookie consent timestamp). No email address is collected. Cookies Essential session cookies are used for login. Optional preference cookies (language, continent) and anonymous usage statistics are used only after you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. You can choose "Essential only" to use the app without those optional cookies. Usage statistics (optional) If you accept optional cookies, we record anonymous page-view events on our own servers: approximate country (from IP), browser type, and IP address. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Payments — Stripe If you pay by card, checkout is handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe processes payment and billing data you enter on their hosted checkout page. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded, a Stripe customer/session reference, and the product purchased so we can deliver virtual cards. Stripe's privacy policy applies to their processing: https://stripe.com/privacy Payments — BBLU (cryptocurrency) If you pay with BBLU, we generate a receive address and show it with a QR code. We store the address, expected amount, transaction hash when detected, and payment status on our servers. Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on public blockchains and are not anonymous. Data retention and your rights You may request access to or deletion of your account by contacting legal@semantiker.ch (see Impressum). We process data to provide the service and, where applicable, to fulfill purchases.
